Sandy Taylor, Minister Of Administration And Outreach
Sandy has been a resident of Dover since
1996, when he came to serve at the Dover Schools as the High School
Girls’ Basketball Coach, and has been a member of FBC since that
time. He was saved in September of 1986 and from then on has felt
God’s leadership and direction throughout each and every part of
his life preparing him for his current role, Minister of Administration
and Outreach at FBC Dover.
As the plans for a new Family Life Center
were coming to fruition, he felt called to serve in some capacity
within this new ministry. Through prayer and a step of faith, Sandy
felt led to make a career change, coming to serve at FBC in 2007,
believing God has prepared and equipped him with his many years of
coaching experience and volunteer service in the areas that are now his
professional responsibility. It is his desire that the Life Center be
used to reach our community for Christ and to meld families to our Lord
and His church.
Sandy grew up in Paron and graduated from
Paron High School. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the
University of Central Arkansas. He and his wife, Laurie, have two
daughters. Shelby and Brooklyn. In his spare time, you will find
Sandy on the golf course or grilling in the backyard.
